CyberShop Fair opens with attractive promotions

In an effort to encourage the public to shop and trade online particularly through the local e-Commerce vendors, Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) yesterday launched The Brunei Cybershop Fair 2020 at OneCity Shopping Centre from Friday to Sunday.BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – The government will establish a national cyber security agency and is currently drafting new cyber security laws, the minister of Transport and Infocommunications has revealed.

Members of the public are welcome to visit the fair that come with attractive discounts and promotions.

Present as the guest of honour to officiate the event was Deputy Minister of Energy and Chairman of AITI Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Matsatejo bin Sokiaw. Also in attendance were AITI Acting Chief Executive Ir Haji Jailani bin Haji Buntar, officials from AITI and representatives from the ICT industry.

The three-day fair offers various products and services ranging from groceries, furniture, cosmetic products, clothing, kitchenware, coding classes, digital payment and others.

Twenty-five local online vendors, e-Commerce and security providers, banks and government agencies who are participating in the event included Kadai Runcit, EduChamp, StorKitani, Naindah.com, Rotuku, Mumtaz Collections, IT Protective Security Services Sdn Bhd (ITPSS), Deep Digital Solutions, Robo Garden, Weelago, Lakastahshare.com, Qafa Haus, Borro Borro, Buycour, Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam, Baiduri Bank, Suhulah, Globex and Postal Services Department.

The Brunei CyberShop Fair 2020 is open from 10am to 10pm and offer exciting activities for customers who stand a chance to win lucky draw prizes and meet online vendors to learn about the benefits of online shopping and to know about safety when shopping online.
