Webinar By Cyber Security Agencies Of Brunei, Malaysia, Indonesia & Singapore

In conjunction with Safer Internet Day 2022, Cyber Security Brunei (CSB) participated in a joint webinar with its counterparts from Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. The online event hosted by CyberSecurity Malaysia (CSM) was entitled ‘Webinar Kita Siber Serumpun’ and streamed via YouTube Live.

The session was moderated by Shahril Sarapudin, a TV host & producer at RTM. Four panelists consisted of Pg Mohd Farid Zulhusni bin Pg Aziz of Cyber Security Brunei, Lt. Col. (Ret) Mustaffa Ahmad of CyberSecurity Malaysia, Adi Nugroho of Badan Siber dan Sandi Negara Indonesia (BSSN), Farhanah Hussin Bagharib and Intan Safinas Mohd Tawfik of Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA).

The panelists spoke of the role that internet users have in creating harmony in the digital community, how to build positive connections online, and the importance of practicing ethical online communication. Each panelist also shared their initiatives to reach the public and promote safe internet use in their respective country.

The event concluded with a special appearance by YBhg Dato’ Ustaz Kazim Elias Al Hafiz, a popular public speaker from Malaysia. Over 500 attendees from Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia and Singapore viewed the live event and participated in an interactive question and answer session.
